I've had this for 2 month and there has literally been a problem every day. You shouldn't have a problem, you coded in BASIC on your C64 30 years ago right? It's like they handed some guy a book and said "Here, learn these languages and program this. The Epic and Origin Launcher look like masterpieces of coding compared to this.
I pay a lot more than $1 3/mn, and they need to treat this like everyone is paying full price for games, not "Oh, well this person only pays $10/mn, and these people signed up for the $1 for 2/mn, and this person pays $8.99 per month.īeta or not, they need to fix this.
They have had the store for over a decade, they need to actually fix this and not call it a Beta. Sure, Origin might limit you to 5 changes per day, but to make you reinstall everything? Now I'm able to open the folder (and indeed the Xbox Gamepass games are found here), but when I try to run any of the games, I now get this error: I was denied permission to open the folder, and so had to go through the Properties->Security tab to change permissions and restart. I tried to hunt down the installation folders (which was annoying itself as for some reason there wasn't an option to open file location from the Start menu) and found the new WindowsApps folder on my drive. The games are installed to an external HD, and the drive is connected and everything else works just fine. After booting my computer today and attempting to open the games again, I get the error message in the title. I just subscribed to the Xbox Gamepass Beta last night, and was able to install and play games on it just fine.
